Oakwood Clean Up Day 2024

Traffic flow will start at Olmstead and N. Main and head north on Olmstead turning west on Collett St. at the Public Works building.

Saturday June 1, 2024.  It will run from 8:00am – 12:00pm. 

Residents must show proof of residency. 

Residents are asked to help unload vehicles.

Items allowed for drop off: furniture, swing sets, grills, play houses, appliances, water heaters, siding, shingles, carpet, lumber and wood, windows, exercise equipment, etc.  Large items must be no larger than 2 feet x 2 feet x 5 feet and weigh less than 200lbs.  Swing sets, playhouses, etc. must be broken down into pieces. 

Items not included in the drop off are: Liquid Waste (paint, motor oil, thinner), Hazardous Waste (gasoline, propane, chemical wastes, and insecticides/pesticides), Electronics (TV’s, Computers, Fax/Copy Machines, Cell Phones, and Stereo Equipment), Tires, or Batteries, Dirt, Yard Waste, Kitchen Garbage.
